What is "Strategy 5/2"?

The topic we were thinking about this last Tuesday.
This strategy is taken from Luke 9:12-17 where Jesus feeds thousands of people.

First of all we start with a problem - people are hungry. We see that in verse 12. And also today there are people around us that are hungry - physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Very often we just like disciples of Jesus also in verse 12 say: "So? Let them go away and take care of themselves."

But Jesus gives us a task: "You give them to eat!" (verse 13). How? This is where we need this strategy "5/2"

John 6:9 reveals that there was a boy who had 5 loaves of bred and 2 fishes. I think this boy was not stupid and he really knew that it is not enough to feed all these people but he was willing to give everything he has to Jesus so that He could do what only He can do. Yes, it was Jesus who fed these people but He did it through what this boy brought to Him. This is the strategy and it's simple - bring what you have, give it to Jesus and leave the results up to Him.

Bible says that God has given each one of us a talent or ability to do something. If we have accepted Christ we have the Kingdom of God in our "pocket". The Bible (Luke 13:19) says that "It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air perched in its branches." Take care of your mustard seed well and use it according to the "Strategy 5/2"

Our goals

a) Reach young people with the Gospel through various Metro activities, small groups and personal relationships.
b) Help young people to grow in their relationship with God through worship, Bible study, and nurturing fellowship. (Worship and prayer time, small groups, spending free time together)
c) Help young people find their calling by engaging in different Metro activities.

Our vision

We want to see young people come to know God, grow in their relationship with Him and serve both in and outside the Church.
